Waiting on Wednesday #13

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights books readers can't wait to be published. There are so many awesome books out there releasing soon!

The book I'm excited about lately is:

When Mallory’s boyfriend, Jeremy, cheats on her with an online girlfriend, Mallory decides the best way to de-Jeremy her life is to de-modernize things too. Inspired by a list of goals her grandmother made in1962, Mallory swears off technology and returns to a simpler time (when boyfriends couldn’t cheat with computer avatars).

The List:
1. Run for pep club secretary
2. Host a fancy dinner party/soiree
3. Sew a dress for Homecoming
4. Find a steady
5. Do something dangerous

But simple proves to be crazy-complicated, and the details of the past begin to change Mallory’s present. Add in a too-busy grandmother, a sassy sister, and the cute pep-club president–who just happens to be her ex’s cousin–and soon Mallory begins to wonder if going vintage is going too far.

This book sounds like so much fun! Plus, did I mention I adore this cover? I've been on a vintage furniture kick lately, so this cover makes me want to redecorate my home. How about you? Think you'll read Going Vintage?

  5. I read an early copy of this and had a lot of fun with this, per usual. Sean Griswold's Head is still my favorite Leavitt but this one was a good time.

Thank you for considering me, but I do not take book review or writing critique requests.

Also, this is now an award-free zone. As much as I truly appreciate blog awards, I simply do not have the time to participate or pass them along any longer.
